Wanneer een psycholoog aankomt op een ruimtestation die een baan maakt om de oceaanplaneet Solaris, ontdekt hij dat de commandant van een expeditie naar de planeet op mysterieuze wijze overleden is. Er doen zich ook enkele andere vreemde gebeurtenissen voor. Zo verschijnen oude kennissen van de crew ter plekke, van wie sommigen al dood zijn.
Nee, helaas is Solaris nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
