Josh gaat voor het eerst naar de universiteit en laat zijn trouwe hond Buddy bij zijn jongere zusje Andrea. In een poging om er een beetje bij te horen, sluit Andrea zich aan bij een honkbalploeg voor meisjes, en het duurt niet lang voordat ze erachter komt dat Buddy ook een behoorlijk goede honkballer is. Net als ze het seizoen lijken te winnen, gebeurt er echter iets vreselijks.
Nee, helaas is Air Bud 4 - De Homerun nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
