De film speelt zich af in de nabije toekomst in een wereld waar het vinden van water erg moeilijk is geworden. Een 14-jarige jongen wordt geconfronteerd met zijn oerinstincten wanneer hij er achter komt dat zijn vriendelijke zwager zijn vader heeft vermoord.
