De maffiabaas Don Vito Perspirino zit plots rechtop op zijn sterfbed door de heerlijke geur van pizza in zijn slaapkamer, die afgeleverd wordt door de jonge pizzabakker Johnny Casanova, waarvan Don denkt dat het zijn verloren zoon is. Johnny Casanova is een ondeugende jongen die verloofd is met Lisa Tortellini die niet weet dat hij betrokken is bij de maffiafamilie wegens een gokschuld van 50 mille. De obsessie van Don voor Johnny brengt allerlei problemen met zich mee voor de leden van de maffia familie. Vooral Gino, de rechterhand van Don, had zijn zinnen al gezet op het overnemen van diens toppositie en baalt van Dons miraculeuze genezing. Johnny probeert ondertussen de vadergevoelens van Don te negeren en de wrede Gino trotseren, die van zowel Don als Johnny af wil komen.
Nee, helaas is Pizza with Bullets nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
