In 1928 wordt een geheimzinnige metalen ring in Egypte gevonden. 65 jaar later komt onderzoeker Daniel Jackson erachter dat de ring een portaal is naar een andere wereld. Samen met een groep militairen, geleid door kolonel Jack O’Neill gaan ze de andere wereld onderzoeken, maar Jackson komt erachter dat O’Neill een andere opdracht heeft meegekregen dan hij aanvankelijk dacht.
Nee, helaas is Stargate nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
