De film gaat over de jonge gitarist Richy. Hij woont in Berlijn en droomt ervan beroemd te zijn. Met Igor als drummer en Hans als bassist begint hij een band om zo beroemd te worden. Er is echter een groot probleem: gebrek aan geld, wat ervoor zorgt dat alles niet altijd erg gemakkelijk gaat.
Nee, helaas is Richy Guitar nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
