Strawberry Shortcake droomt van frisse nieuwe velden met bessenstruiken - genoeg voor iedereen. Maar wanneer de hebzuchtige Peculiar Purple Pieman Strawberry Land binnenrolt, besluit hij Strawberry's droom te stelen - en ook de dromen van alle anderen. Om de Purple Pieman en zijn kwaadaardige plan te stoppen, moeten Strawberry en haar vrienden naar het Land van dromen reizen. Gaandeweg leren deze bijzondere vrienden de waarde van samenwerken om dromen waar te maken.
