Plot

Toen Thin Lizzy-frontman Phil Lynott op 4 januari 1986 overleed, was hij 36 jaar oud. Zijn vroege dood door een drugsgerelateerde ziekte plaatste hem in dezelfde rock-'n-roll-competitie als zijn idolen Elvis en Jimi Hendrix. Deze documentaire kijkt achter het beeld en onthult de spanningen van het leven in de fast lane. Het richt zich ook op Lynott als familieman, schrijver en zwarte Ier met een Braziliaanse vader.
