Nick, Dale en Kurt besluiten samen een eigen bedrijf te beginnen zodat ze hun eigen baas kunnen zijn. Een geniepige investeerder heeft echter andere plannen met hun veelbelovende bedrijf, plannen waarbij Nick, Dale en Kurt helaas niet bij horen, en voordat ze nog maar één cent hebben verdiend staan ze alweer op straat. De wanhoop nabij, besluiten de drie bijna-entrepreneurs de investeerders' zoon te ontvoeren en hem te gijzelen totdat ze de macht over hun eigen bedrijf weer terug hebben.
