Samen met een groep vrienden en zijn vriendin Brooks gaat John Hickman naar de verlaten ranch van zijn overleden oom. Samen besluiten ze om op de ranch op jacht te gaan naar wilde zwijnen en het lijkt een leuk weekendje te worden. Maar tijdens hun tocht ontdekken John en zijn vrienden plotseling iets bijzonders in de bossen; iets dat de mysterieuze dood van Johns oom zou kunnen verklaren en iets dat tevens hun eigen dood zou kunnen betekenen; een gigantisch, levensgevaarlijk en moordlustig everzwijn.
