Dona Hermínia is terug, maar nu rijk en beroemd sinds ze presentatrice is van haar eigen succesvolle tv-show. Het overbezorgde karakter zal echter te maken krijgen met het vertrek van haar kinderen, aangezien Marcelina en Juliano besluiten te verhuizen. Als tegenprestatie verwelkomt ze als bezoeker haar zus Lúcia Helena, die in New York woont.
