De NBA-playoffs zijn in volle gang, en de Boston Celtics moeten het voor een belangrijke wedstrijd opnemen tegen de Utah Jazz. Mike en Jimmy, twee die-hard fans, zijn er zeker van dat Celtic zou winnen als de sterspeler van de Jazz, Lewis Scott, niet mee zou doen. Ze besluiten hem te kidnappen.
