In het Colosseum wil keizer Nero een slachtoffer voor de leeuwen gooien, maar hij ontdekt dat ze geen slachtoffers meer hebben. Dus beveelt hij Yosemite Sam om er een voor hem te halen. Nadat hij Bugs Bunny heeft opgemerkt, probeert Sam van hem het slachtoffer te maken.
