Sally is gevlucht van haar drugs-dealende man. Ze krijgt een baantje als croupier in een casino in Atlantic City. Lou is een kruimeldief maar hij denkt dat hij een groots crimineel verleden heeft. Hij ziet zijn buurvrouw Sally elke dag naar haar werk gaan en raakt geïnteresseerd in haar.
