Grant werkt bij een radiostation, dat uitzendt vanuit de kelder van de kerk in het kleine stadje Pontypool. Wat voor Grant begint als een saaie werkdag verandert in een ware nachtmerrie als Grant en zijn collega's vast komen te zitten. Ze komen erachter dat er een dodelijk virus heerst.
Nee, helaas is Pontypool nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
