Hoax is een echte sukkel, woont bij zijn strenggelovige moeder Lucy en kijkt erg op tegen zijn stoere neef Spike. Op een dag ontdekt Hoax het telefoonnummer 976-EVIL en belt hier naar toe. Al snel ontdekt Hoax dat hij op deze manier krachten krijgt, die hem kunnen helpen wraak te nemen...
