Batman gaat erop uit met Task Force X, ook wel bekend als Suicide Squad, een groep schurken ingehuurd door de regering voor gevaarlijke missies. Ze proberen de Joker te stoppen, die momenteel gevangen zit omdat hij ergens in Gotham City een vuile bom heeft geplaatst.
