Het gezin Bowen verhuist naar een andere stad nadat Eric Bowen, de vader van het gezin, zijn baan verliest. Maar al snel blijkt dat het nieuwe huis bezeten is door kwade geesten. De aanvallen van de angstaanjagende geesten escaleren al gauw en ze ontvoeren de jongste dochter van het gezin.
Nee, helaas is Poltergeist nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
