Kayla is een eersteklas snowboarder die heel plots uit haar team gezet wordt en gedwongen wordt te trainen met Will, een voormalig snowboard-kampioen die worstelt na een carrière-eindigende val. Een filmpje ervan heeft zich snel verspreid over het internet en daardoor staat hij nu te boek als 'Epic fail'. Kayla traint met Will om haar positie te herstellen en Will creëert een trainingsprogramma dat test of ze toegewijd genoeg is voor de uitdaging van professionele competitie.
