De snoepwinkel van Wendy's vader staat op het punt om de deuren voorgoed te sluiten vanwege tegenvallende financiële resultaten. Daarom trekt Wendy er samen met haar zesjarige zoontje op uit naar de grote stad, in de hoop daar geld te vergaren voor de winkel. Wanneer ze een baan krijgt aangeboden in een groot warenhuis zien de zaken er goed uit. Maar dan komt een wanhopige kerstman op haar pad.
Nee, helaas is Christmas in the City nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
