Toen Alex nog heel jong was, werd zijn leven tijdens een schipbreuk gered door een prachtig zwart, Arabisch paard. Alex neemt 'Black' mee naar New York waar hij hem leert berijden. Black wordt uiteindelijk een geweldig racepaard. Het probleem is echter dat de edele viervoeter nog steeds aan de Marokkaanse sjeik Abu Ben Ishak toebehoort en verschillende mensen in de Sahara lopen met plannen rond om het paard te stelen. Wanneer Black op een dag verdwijnt, volgt Alex hem onmiddellijk naar de Arabische woestijn, maar zijn grote vriend is niet zomaar te vinden.
Nee, helaas is The Black Stallion Returns nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
