'The Good Lie' vertelt het waargebeurde verhaal van een jonge vluchteling uit de Soedanese burgeroorlog. Samen met drie lotgenoten gaat hij naar de VS, waar hij een nieuw bestaan hoopt op te bouwen. Ze ontwikkelen een bijzondere vriendschap met hun maatschappelijk werkster.
Nee, helaas is The Good Lie nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
