Na persoonlijke en professionele mislukkingen in het leven moet Elise noodgedwongen een job als begeleidster bij haar oude zomerkamp aanvaarden. Ze wordt daar herenigd met twee jeugdvrienden die daar nooit zijn weggegaan. Wanneer de toekomst van het kamp in gevaar dreigt te komen slaan de drie vrienden hun handen ineen. Dit zal de loop van hun leven voor altijd doen veranderen.
