Bomba, de junglejongen en dierenbeschermer, schiet prinses Zita van Kampani te hulp. Zita is een weesmeisje, die in het oerwoud leeft en geen idee heeft, wie haar echte familie is. Zita wordt bij een lokale stam door de dubieuze heerser Hassan gepromoot als de "witte godin". Hassan wil dat Zita troonopvolgster wordt van de Verborgen Stad.
