Een rijke bankdirecteur, genaamd Jaimes King, wordt ten onrechte veroordeeld voor fraude en zal in een maximaal beveiligde gevangenis terechtkomen. Om zich voor te bereiden op zijn opsluiting wendt hij zich tot Darnell Lewis, de man die zijn auto wast, om zich 'harder' te laten maken in de laatste 30 dagen van zijn vrijheid.
