Na de scheiding van zijn ouders woont de 12-jarig Conor bij zijn moeder. Zij is ernstig ziek geworden en daarom krijgen ze vaak bezoek van zijn oma met wie Conor geen goede relatie heeft. Op school wordt hij door zijn klasgenoten gepest.
