Robin Hood redt Maid Marian en haar broer van een onzichtbare aanvaller. Omwille van hun verzet tegen de meedogenloze regels van prins John, zijn hun levens in gevaar en wordt zijn aanstaande huwelijk bedreigd. Zodoende moeten de 'Merry Men' opnieuw in het zadel en nu rijden ze naar Nottingham Castle om Engeland en de ware liefde te redden.
