Mabel wordt verliefd op de piraat Frederic en dat geeft de nodige problemen. De traditie in haar familie schrijft voor dat de jongste dochter als laatste trouwt. Al haar zussen zijn echter nog vrijgezel. Frederic heeft het ook niet gemakkelijk; hij is opgevoed door piraten en moet tot zijn 21ste verjaardag bij hen blijven. Frederic is geboren in een schrikkeljaar en is daarom volgens de piraten nog maar vier en een half.
Nee, helaas is The Pirate Movie nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
