Greta is een mooie en slimme meid. Haar ouders zijn gescheiden en nu leeft ze bij haar moeder. Greta wordt voor de zomervakantie naar haar grootouders gestuurd om zo een beetje bij te komen maar daar is ze fors op tegen. Ze is al van plan om zelfmoord te plegen omdat ze niet bij haar grootouders achtergelaten wil worden. Haar zelfmoordplan neemt echter een andere wending als de liefde groeit voor haar opa en oma en als ze haar eerste vakantieliefde ontmoet.
