Gedramatiseerde documentaire. Kenny Easterday is een jongen die zich wegens agenesie en derhalve noodzakelijke operaties aan zijn benen op zeer jonge leeftijd nu, inmiddels dertien jaar oud, moet redden zonder benen. Hij is echter slim, grappig en verslaafd aan skaten. Daarnaast ligt hij ook wel eens overhoop met zijn broer en diens vriendin en kan hij grillig zijn, in bijvoorbeeld zijn omgang met zijn zus. Daarnaast moet hij nog regelmatig naar het ziekenhuis, en daar windt hij het personeel om zijn vinger.
