Luchtpiloot Jack Holloway is vals beschuldigd van hoogverraad voor het stelen van een prototype militair vliegtuig en hiervoor veroordeeld. Op weg naar de gevangenis doet hij een gewaagde ontsnappingspoging om het vliegtuig terug te krijgen, zijn naam te zuiveren en zijn vrijheid te herwinnen.
