Uncle Buck wordt gevraagd als kinderoppas door zijn broer Bob want de vader van Bobs vrouw Cindy heeft een hartaanval gehad. Het klikt in het begin helemaal niet tussen Buck en Tia, de oudste van de drie kinderen. Pas na de nodige strubbelingen begint Tia te begrijpen dat alles wat Buck doet voor haar eigen bestwil is.
Nee, helaas is Uncle Buck nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
