Nick Wild, wiens gokverslaving hem heeft geleid tot de straten van Las Vegas, besluit om klusjes aan te nemen die 'veiligheid' moeten garanderen om zijn verslaving te kunnen bekostigen. Zijn leven neemt een andere wending wanneer een vriendin bruut wordt mishandeld en hij gedwongen wordt het op te nemen tegen de maffia.
