Twee echtparen zijn ongelukkig met hun relatie: het ene echtpaar bestaat uit de ambitieuze zakenman Jeffrey Byron en de seksueel gefrustreerde Marianne en het andere bestaat uit klusjesman Lucky Mann en een voormalig b-movie actrice Phyllis. Wanneer Lucky op een dag arriveert bij Byron's flat om wat dingen te maken, raakt Marianne geobsedeerd door hem.
