Regisseur John Wilson wil een film in Afrika opnemen. Een belangrijke oorzaak is het feit dat hij bezeten is van de olifantenjacht. Terwijl de filmploeg zich op de opnamen voorbereidt, concentreert John zich op zowel de olifanten- als op de vrouwenjacht. In Afrika krijgt de regisseur met iedereen ruzie en gaat letterlijk op de vuist. Terwijl kostbare draaidagen wegtikken, probeert John een olifant te verschalken. Terwijl het filmproject op de rand van de finaciële afgrond balanceert, staat John midden in de jungle oog in oog met een olifant. Het wordt een dodelijke confrontatie voor de helper Kivu. De eerste opnamen van de film moeten nog beginnen...maar de Afrikaanse drums vertellen al het verhaal van de blanke jager met het boosaardige hart.
Nee, helaas is White Hunter, Black Heart nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
