De 18-jarige Cayden Richards heeft het allemaal. Hij is aanvoerder van het middelbare school footballteam, haalt goede cijfers en heeft een prachtige vriendin. Maar als hij op een nacht wakker wordt zijn zijn ouders op brute wijze vermoord en is hij geschokt als hij beseft dat hij veranderd is in een wilde wolf. In paniek slaat hij op de vlucht. Zijn zoektocht leidt hem naar het geïsoleerde stadje Lupine Ridge, waar twee groepen weerwolven op voet van oorlog staan met elkaar.
