Het is moeilijk te geloven dat het bijna twee jaar geleden is dat de wereld nog nooit gehoord had van Edward Snowden of van wat de NSA werkelijk deed achter gesloten deuren. Zijn onthulling over de enorme hoeveelheid gegevens die de inlichtingendienst verzamelde over Amerikanen en mensen over de hele wereld, sloeg in als een bom. Deze film gaat terug naar het begin van het verhaal.
Nee, helaas is Citizenfour nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
