Randy Dean, een rebelse tomboy die bij haar lesbische tante woont in een arbeidersbuurt, is verliefd op de mooie en rijke Evie Roy, één van de populairste meisjes van de school. Dan komt Evie Roy langs bij de benzinepomp waar Randy werkt, ervan overtuigd dat er iets met haar dure landrover aan de hand is. Ze raken geïnteresseerd in elkaar en ontmoeten elkaar later op school weer waar ze een romance beginnen die niemand zich kan voorstellen. Het zet een stel komische gebeurtenissen op gang wat uiteindelijk culmineert in een motel waar de twee naartoe vluchten.
Nee, helaas is The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
