Als advocaat Dean Campwell op een avond thuis komt, is zijn gezin gegijzeld door terroristen die een nucleaire bom in Dean's huis verstopt hebben. Als de onderhandelingen en terroristische bedreigingen toenemen, moet Dean tussen de hulp van de regering kiezen die hij niet vertrouwt of het redden van zijn familie.
