De wereld van The Travellers, een grote familie van oplichters, wordt gedomineerd door strikte gedragscodes die van generatie op generatie overgeleverd werden. Wanneer de jonge Pat O'Hara zijn vader komt begraven, wordt hij opnieuw met hen geconfronteerd. In het verleden is zijn vader door The Travellers verstoten, en Pat stelt nu alles in het werk om weer tot deze clan toegelaten te worden.
