Film over het leven van bokslegende Vinny Pazienza. In 1991 wordt Pazienza in een klap beroemd als hij de ongeslagen kampioen Gilbert Dale verslaat. Wanneer hij vervolgens betrokken raakt bij een auto-ongeluk en mogelijk nooit meer zal kunnen lopen, lijkt zijn carrière van korte duur.
