Plot

Slats en Molly McCarthy zijn broer en zus. Samen met hun vriend Oliver Quackenbush verdienen zij hun brood met dansen. Slats vertelt als grap dat zijn zus graag geld wil verdienen om naar de meisjesschool Bixby College te kunnen gaan. De schooldirecteur van Bixby besluit daarop om Molly toe te laten op zijn school. Wanneer Bixby College echter dreigt te worden gesloten, komen Slats en Oliver in actie om de school te redden van de ondergang.
