Julián is een acteur en levensgenieter die de vijftig is gepasseerd. Hij is terminaal ziek en accepteert dat sterven deel uitmaakt van het leven, daarom organiseert hij zijn laatste afscheid. Zijn jeugdvriend Tomás komt hem uit Canada bezoeken, ze hebben elkaar in jaren niet gezien.
