Faustino wil trouwen met Acacia, een meisje dat alles zou doen om bij haar familie weg te gaan, maar haar stiefvader is tegen het huwelijk omdat hij denkt dat ze niet genoeg van hem houdt. Hij stuurt Faustino weg en dreigt hem te vermoorden als hij terugkomt. De jongeman wil Acacia 's nachts toch komen halen en wordt neergeschoten. De familie van Faustino zweert zijn dood te wreken.
