De dochter van Stiles, Donna, is vermoord op de nacht nadat ze een date had met de verlegen Mitch. Natuurlijk is hij daardoor de grootste verdachte. Als Mitch op borgtocht vrij komt, huurt stiles een ex-agent (Mace) in om hem te volgen. Mace komt er al snel achter dat er iemand achter Mitch aan zit, maar niet alleen achter Mitch, ook achter Mace zelf en achter een prostituee, Sarah, zodra zij samen zijn gezien.
