Tommy 'White Knife' Stockburn (Adam Sandler) is een man die als weeskind is opgegroeid bij een indianenstam. Wanneer hij hoort dat zijn lang verloren vader is teruggekeerd, gaat hij op een avontuurlijke reis door het wilde westen. Dit doet hij samen met zijn vijf halfbroers, waarbij ze beter bekend zullen staan als 'the ridiculous six'.
