Het jaar 2151. In de nasleep van een onderdrukkende klassenoorlog is het ruimteschip van vijf bemanningsleden vernietigd. Ze zijn gedwongen om met een ontsnappingsmodule, die gebouwd is voor vier personen, het schip te verlaten. Onder hen is een zwangere officier.
