Plot

We volgen Winston Churchill in de jaren volgend op de film The Gathering Storm. De Tweede Wereldoorlog is daar en Churchill zal een enorm belangrijke rol moeten spelen in het tegengaan van de Nazi's. Hij ontpopt zich meer en meer tot een charismatisch leider en inspireert velen tot actie tegen de Duitsers. Zijn karakter bleek uitermate geschikt als oorlogspresident, maar ditzelfde karakter werkte tegen hem in de rest van zijn politieke carrière alsmede zijn eigen huwelijk, waar meer nodig bleek dan one liners en kordaat optreden.
