Rafe Katchadorian is een ietwat teruggetrokken tiener die er lustig op los fantaseert. Hij baalt enorm van school en de daarbij behorende regels. Samen met zijn beste vriend Leo bedenkt Rafe een plan om elke regel die in het schoolhandboek staat te overtreden. Maar dat levert uiteraard nogal wat problemen op.
