In een afgelegen laboratorium bevindt zich een kunstmatig gecreëerde levensvorm die zich snel lijkt te ontwikkelen. Een bedrijfsadviseuse wordt ingeschakeld om het wezen te evalueren. Het is aan haar om te bepalen of deze moet worden vernietigd.
